Using a Tablet with PSE 6.0

Just thought I'd let you all know of a little bug...

I have a Wacom Graphire 4x5, but use a regular PS2 mouse (I didn't like the feel of the Wacom mouse).

In PSE 6.0, if you use a tool that uses a brush (brush, selection brush, cloning, face merge, etc) and attempt to use your regular mouse, it doesn't work - you have to use your pen on your tablet. I consider this a bug, because in PSE 5.0, I could use either one. (Sometimes a mouse was better because I didn't have to worry about "pressure", and other times, I wanted "pressure.")

Trish: That's strange because I have a Graphire 4x6 and a MS Optical Mouse and they both work fine with PSE6 like they did with previous versions. So maybe you have something else going on. Do you still have PSE5 loaded? Do they both still work there?

Hmm. I'm not sure what my mouse is. I still have PSE 5.0 installed on that computer, and I know it worked there. I'm not sure what brand my mouse is on the other computer. I'll have to check later (my laptop just has a mouse, my desktop has both). Someone else reported the same problem over at the adobe forums.

Hi Trish, no problems to report from here, I am using a Logitech laser mouse and have not had any problems to this point.

Mind you I don't recall trying the graphire as I just picked up the bamboo.:D
