Ralph Hawkins has presented this very colourful images for the Challenge. The only information i have is from the name of the image Torremolinos Spain. While the original boat builder selected blue one wonders what it would look like in ... say paisley ... or more.

then the Present will be Past and new images will be posted as Present.

The first images are now posted after a slight delay.

Why the delay may you ask? At 11 am this morning a Purolator truck arrived in my drive with a family pack of Leopard. I installed it on three computers and then play play played with the new pussy cat. Just about the time I was ready to post the Challenges my son log onto iChat, he also installed Leopard on his two computers. Like little kids we put aside responsibilities and had a blast with funky iChat.

The tropical boat led to some interesting images this week.

ALEX B: Nice background recreation -- I like the Halloween themed
inserts in #2. Love the dunes in #3 -- your creation or a photo?
BARBARA W: Great textural flows and abstract take-offs on the original. Can't decide between the subtle reflections in #2 or the xistera-shaped weave cradling the jai alai ball in #3 is my favorite.
BILL Z: Ah, the return of our vacationing couple -- and what a lovely
new outfit the Mrs. is wearing. Something familiar about the boat
captain, too.
CHUCK F: Nice transfer of the boat to a misty sea setting -- is that
our lighthouse in the distance?
ELLEN H: Interesting abstract generated from the original. Still
retains the tropical feel but a completely different emotional tone.
FRANK Z: Great job on the reflection.
KIM B: Could that be Sluggo's ghost piloting the newly christened ship? Great idea.
LISA B: Nice take on the Ugly Duckling theme.
MALCOLM D: I like the black and white negative look.
MARIE S: Now where did all those sailors come from? Nice relocation job and previous Challenge reference.
MARK R: Cool re-coloring job -- sy-kay-del-ick! The ground 'reflection' in #2 is a new idea!
RED S: LOL! The Wiener-mobile and the wiener cloud had me rolling.
RITA G: Nice beach insert -- even with the warm Fall we've had here in Chicago, that beach looks awfully inviting.
SHARI M: Nice lake scene insertion -- the birds are certainly migrating this time of year -- I pass some freshly harvested corn fields (that's maize, folks) on my way to work and they've been covered in Canadian geese lately. Love the anchor frame, too.

Thank you, Bob. That's Waikiki. Commercialization or not, it's still my favorite.

Love your haughty turkey.

Bob, I thank you too, some how a full moon turned into a cat's eye. I really liked your morph from street light to hat to the turkey looking a bit edgy.
Rita's beach and Frank Z's reflection are 2 that stick in mind (and of course the OM Wiener-Mobile and the honeymooners)

Another fun one and as always thanks Grant and I hope everyone enjoys this as much as I do.
