Another B & W Before and After

I was experimenting with shutter speed and got the before picture. At first I was really upset because it was a nice moment that I thought I lost. But thanks to PE5 I was able to make it into a decent pic.

I purposly made it very dark because the picture looked grainy in plain B & W.

Comments and advice very much appreciated.

The black & white is awesome. Darkening it makes the angle of the light shine down on them. You need to frame this large & give it to the grandfather. I know it will bring tears to his eyes. Love It!

This is one of those photo's that looks much better and dramatic in B&W.

You successfully took away everything that didn't matter, and what was left was everything that was important about the photo.

I agree, print a copy for grandpa. It will mean a lot.

Thanks for the kind words and advice. I had a 5x7 printed of the picture from mpix.com. I chose the "special" B&W paper and it came out great. I'm going to make a much bigger print for my father in law (the grandfather).
