I stumbled upon this blog.

I would LOVE to know how to achieve results in photoshop as these pictures show in this blog.... http://thesecretworkshop.typepad.com/theblog/2007/05/index.html

Refer to post. "Photoshop....the biggest secret of all"

Do any of you out there have any idea how to achieve similar results with Photoshop elements? I would love to know how to get the "look" out of my photos as they seem to always appear flat vs.... where they pop & look fabulous. Examples would be perfect!

THANKS!

An easy to follow book with step by step illustrations of how to do 100 different things in PSCS2. I bought it at Barnes & Noble for $15.00 us. It really is good check it out.

It looks like cropping and various items in the enhance menu--levels, hue & saturation, etc. Play with those. You should be able to achieve what you want in elements. The complexion fix was probably done with the healing brush and/or clone stamp.

I suggest you browse the user galleries here and if you see something you want to know how to do, come to the forum and ask.

If you are a subscriber, check out the videos and tutorials. There are many free tutorials out there you could find with google.

Or... post a couple of your photos and invite the forum to play with them. You should get a variety of different effects and info on how they were done. There is usually someone around willing to play with a photo.

Hi ...

I didn't really see anything in there beyound the usual fixes which are very achievable in Elements.

If you haven't been using Elements for long then I really wouldn't buy a book for the full version of Photoshop as you could find that very confusing. Just post a photograph that you want to fix (you can use http://www.pixentral.com/index.php) and we will all help you with it :)
