This is not an elements question but I hope one of the many photography experts among you will be able to help me.
I recently purchased a Canon Rebel XTI. This is my first SLR and I have noticed that when I take photos in the sunshine I get a mark on the photos (looks like a distorted blurred bulb). I have seen this on scenes of Sea/sky and I noted that it is more obvious when I have used an ultraviolet filter (almost like a photo of the filter on the image). Is this a mark or scratch on the sensor/lens? or is it an exposure problem. Note that when I filled the frame with an image of a white wall I saw no marks.
All the affected photos were at exposure between 200-250 & f8-f10.
I would have liked to attach an image or two to show you but don't know how. if anyone knows how I can do so, please let me know.
