Are you a subscriber? In the subscriber area there are tutorials on making Holiday cards. The tutorials are by Wendy Williams who is the BEST at PSE and scrapbooking. She is the queen of How-to!

Not knowing your level of knowledge with PSE I suggest you go to Staple's, or similar store, and get the size of a card. Go home and cut out some inexpensive paper to that size and begin to make a card and try to print it.
Post back as to where you get stuck so that we have an idea on how to guide you.
There are card folders which accept a simple printed photo.

Hi Stacey,
As has already been mentioned, a lot depends on your level of PSE experience. I am glad you found this forum as the people here are particularly friendly and ready to help. My Christmas card this year is based on the technique developed by Wendy. If you are a beginner, I would suggest you stick to a fond photograph. I have had great results with a card stock from Red River Paper (www.RedRiverPaper.com (http://www.RedRiverPaper.com)). People in this forum pointed me in that direction. What is great about their Item #8410 Frio Gloss is that it is photo glossy on one side and matte finish on the other. Thus, you can print an excellent picture on one side and type your message on the other.
The only trick is to position the shot correctly on paper that is 9" by 6.25". Once you get their sample pack (www.redrivercatalog.com/cardshop/samples.htm (http://www.redrivercatalog.com/cardshop/samples.htm)), people here can tell you how to do it.
As for a picture, I sent out typical snow scenes when I lived in Boston, but now that I live in Palm Beach, FL I send southern themed cards. It is all up to you. Enjoy this forum!
Cheers,
Bob

Robert, Do you know if Red River paper works on a Canon printer? I got an offer for their sample pack in Saturdays mail. The reason I ask is that HP paper in a Canon printer causes the ink to pool up but other papers like Ilford work O.K.

Hi Stacey, Redriver Paper has a complete listing of compatible paper/printer combinations on their website. Check under "Find Paper for Printer" option and it will take you to that list.;)

I have a Canon S9000 and it works fine.
