Crop Challenge #17 -photos

I was tagged for this week's challenge (thanks, Maria!). This handsome cowboy and his faithful dog sit in a park in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The photo is in two sizes, one for faster connections and one for dial-up.

The rules for the challenge are:

* You must crop the image.
* The crop can be any size you want.
* You may do other edits if you wish.

Well. Here is my attempt. I tried the Whimsical Woodcut. I think it would have come out much better had the image been a higher resolution, but I'm happy just the same.

This was one of the better photos to play with.:)

Great image! The cowboy reminds me a little of Walt Whitman. :)

Nothing too imaginative but I was playing with the PSE6 Quick Selection Tool to see how well it worked so thought I'd try it on this - way better than the magic extractor :)
