Tonight I processed my first Nikon NEF RAW image in PSE 4 for Mac and saved the image as a DNG file. However, when I return to iPhoto I cannot find the DNG thumbnail. The NEF thumbnail from which it was derived is there but not the DNG thumbnail. This was totally unexpected, because after editing JPEGs in PSE 4 and saving them I have always found the thumbnails of the edited JPEGs in my iPhoto library alongside the original unedited JPEGs.
I can't do further editing of the DNG image if I can't find it! I would appreciate an explanation by some experienced hand as to what is going on here and how I can make contact with my newly produced DNG image for additional editing in PSE 4.!
