Will Elements 6 open my 5D CR2 files?

I'm interested in buying E v6 but I want to be able to manipulate the RAW image.

Can 6 do this?

I consider myself fairly adept at hunting down infor but I've had trouble getting past the marketing campaign of summerized coolness to learn about the products abiltities and limitations.

Anyway, thank you very much for responding. I very glad to hear the answer you provide. I need some basic, stable, forward thinking, photo editing software and most certainly PS leads the way.

If you have any suggestions for where to go to learn more about the product, past the headlines, I would be most grateful.
