Hi
thank you for reading my post
I have some photo in a folder that I want to browse that folder using Element 6
Is it possible without importing them into the Element 6 which make a duplicate copy of those photos?
Something like Lightroom import which add photos to its catalog without creating a secondary copy of photos.

Thanks

Hi legolas, and welcome to the forum, :)

You've been misinformed. Elements doesn't create a duplicate copy of your photographs, only a thumbnail for display purposes. I'm less familiar with the mechanics of Lightroom, but I believe it does exactly the same thing in creating its "previews".

Hi there and welcome to the forum. Actually Elements doesn't make a duplicate copy. When you import into the Elements Organizer all you are doing is creating a thumbnail and a record of the path the the original image. If you just want to browse a folder File>Open in Editor will let you browse folders or you can use most other photo browsing softare you might have (Windows Picture and Fax Viewer, Picasa, Irfanview etc). Most will let you browse and then open an image in the Elements Editor.
