Hi, i'm new to Elements . I was an avid windows user but now i use a mac.
When i am working with elements i notice that in my screen i can see my safari browser or desktop pic from elements.
I would rather not see and just work in the program. Is there a way to correct this?
I do hope i make sense. Photoshop does the same and i do hope there is a solution.
Thanks
Cindy±

Welcome,
Some one who is a Mac user will come along and elaborate if my guess is wrong but on a Mac platform that is normal. I beleive you work space is so called floating and you can see behind it where it does not fully cover up your desk top. I don't know if I made any sence but it is normal.

Hi Cindy ...

The Mac does indeed have a floatindg desktop ... which means that you can see the desktop behind most applications. You do get used to it after a time but some tips are:

Keep your desktop clear of clutter .. either file things away off the desktop or for those things that you do need there then creat a folder on the desktop and pop them in there. That way you don't get distracting things showing up behind your programs :)

Choose a fairly plain desktop image or if you have a fancy one then change it over when you are using Elements ...

Hope that helps :)
