I'm wondering if someone could tell me how to resize multiple photos from a single folder that are both portrait and landscape oriented and have them come out with the same size on the long dimension. If I resize using the multiple file process with a 1024 pixel width for example, then the landscape oriented photos will at 1024 wide where I want them, but the portrait oreinted photos will be 1024 wide and 1520 high. I'd like to keep the longest dimension on both to 1024. I'm probably missing something easy so if someone could fill me in I'd appreciate it! Thanks

Welcome to Forum.
You can rotate pictures so they are all the same. Either all in Portrait or Landscape. You can do this in Editor by going to Image> Rotate.
You could also open Folder and holding down CTRL click on all of pictures you wanted to rotate, then Right Click on a file and choose Rotate so they will all rotate together. According to how much RAM Memory you have as to how long it will take for all them to rotate.

..to resize multiple photos from a single folder that are both portrait and landscape oriented...
Put the portraits in one folder and the landscapes in another. Then process each folder separately. :)

Thanks for the quick replies! I was hoping there was an automatic way to do it without rotating or seperating into folders but either one is pretty simple to do.

Thanks, Dave

Hi dhfreriks,
To batch-resize both portraits and landscapes just define target size in "percent" and not in "px"
