I'm using PSE 4.0 on a Mac. I'd like to cut out some letters from a digital paper that I purchased, but don't seem to have any alphabets for my cookie cutter tool and can't locate any. Can anyone direct me to a few choices? Thanks!

Tricia, if I understood your wish, you can easily cut them out with any font on your system.

Duplicate your background (paper) layer and hide the bottom layer.
Type your text in at the size you want over the new layer.
Ctrl+click the thumbnail of the finished type layer to select the type. (Sorry! Of course that is Cmd+click for a Mac!)
Hide this layer, then click on the duplicate paper layer in the layer palette.
Click the menu item Select>Inverse and then hit the Delete key.
You should then have your text filled with the paper and you can add layer styles and/or a stroke layer to it.

Let us know if this works for you. If not, I or someone else will surely be willing to help.

Reka, thank you! That sounds like exactly what I need to do. When I get home from work today, I will give that a try! :)
