This was my second attempt (http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/gallery/view_img.php?id=26128) at a multi-minute exposure. I used a 100 ISO to cut down on noise and about a 4 minute exposre at f4.
I'd like to show more movement in the stars with a longer exposure and use a smaller aperture. Anyone have any guidance for me?
Thanks in advance.

Bill, I can't help you with your question but wanted to compliment you on your photo, it is beautiful. I'm sure Chuck or one of the other camera buffs will be along to answer your question.

Try a 30 minute exposure or longer for longer star trails.

Bill,
I would probably shoot the stars separately until you get what you want and then shoot the trees. Then it becomes a simple matter of layerizing until you are happy with the result. Experiment with the stars in 5 minute increments.
