Even though the temperatures don't feel like fall, more like mid July in the 80's, the fall colors are managing to sneak through. We spent the weekend camping so Larry and Chance could duck hunt. Too warm for the ducks to fly south so the only shooting going on was from my camera.:D
I just added 9 new images to my gallery from this weekend. Most were taken on manual after reading part of Chapter 1 Understanding Exposure. Hope you enjoy them.

Beautiful country; wonderful pics. We should get together and do a book on mushrooms.

Thanks Jancy and Ron. So glad you liked them.
Ron, the other fungi I took didn't come out so well. Too high on the tree. Really weird looking stuff but the shots don't do them justice.
I have all the photos uploaded now that I took this weekend. There are 381 shots. All were taken from out campsite or within 100 yards. I deleted about 20 that were out of focus or that DH took trying to get some clouds. He was only shooting at the clouds and not the surrounding sky as well. Plus he didn't know the camera wasn't on auto but manual so didn't know to change any setting.
I'll get them uploaded to my Picasa gallery tomorrow if I get a chance.

Kim,
Every single one of your photos was a pleasure to see. I loved the "fungi" ones, and the leaves in the water especially. Gorgeous colors and what a good job! Living in Houston, it's the only way I'll get to see any real autumn color.
Guess I'll have to read that book too, and hope I can come close to what you've done. Just wish I could retain things better!
Thanks for sharing these........

Kim,
Gorgeous shots, every one of them. This (http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/gallery/view_img.php?id=26083) one and this (http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/gallery/view_img.php?id=26081) one are my favorites! And I like the fungi, too! We found some growing in the sand at the beach this year for the first time (I think there is a shot in my smugmug gallery).

Great updates to your gallery Kim. I've not been there in awhile. Also love the baby pic with week 27 and Corey mask. Gives me an idea or 2.

Wow, great job Kim! You really must be understanding the book because every shot came out wonderful! I just got the book today so I haven't read any of it yet.

Thanks Peg, glad you like it. The baby picture is my great niece and it has actually been in my gallery for a couple of month.
