Spider!

This lovely spider was having lunch outside my sister-in-law's house this summer. My granddaughter screamed at first, but when I convinced her that the spider was much more interested in it's meal, she thought it was pretty cool.

Nice shot... Baaaaaad spider! Yuck, I hate spiders! Give me a snake anyday. At least they (usually) have the good sense to get out of your way.

Lorri and Susan, I'm with you! For me, it's hard to find the beauty in something so, urp!, spidery! Though the shot itself is wonderful. This is where a high-quality telephoto zoom lens would come in very handy! One that could zoom in from say, at least a football field in length away. :p
