Photo Theme #103

Ch-ch-ch-changes. Regardless of where in the world we live we're all seeing seasonal changes. The colors of autumn, the blossoms of spring, or simply the seasonal flavors in the local markets and festivals ... they all demonstrate this week's theme, Changing Seasons.

Everyone is invited to participate.
Because the purpose of the weekly theme is to get us more familiar with our cameras and to sharpen our photographic skills, entries should be taken during the week of the theme.
Photoshopping is allowed.

Sadly the horse chestnut trees (there is one at the back of the house too) are not well this year, they seem to have got very confused with the wet weather we had in the summer, they looked to be changing colour for ages now, fewer conkers and now the tree round the back is shooting - I hope they sort themselves out!

I may post some oak leaf shots later in the week, nice choice of theme,

My niece in the park yesterday.

Notice the green leaves and the brown leaves. Now look at Devin's shoes!!:D We're not used to 90 degree October days in my part of the U.S.!:) Is it still summer or now fall?

Gray skies and a spinning anemometer signal the change of seasons here. It's somewhat ironic the acronym of SAD spells out Seasonal Affective Disorder, which is soon to follow.:(

How about pumpkins to signal the start of Fall? Possessing no talent or skill for carving, I decided it would be much safer to simply draw the faces on. (Is it just me or do you get the sense that all is not right in pumpkin-paradise?)

I took a lot of pictures at my parent's farm. I couldn't choose just one. It has been so dry in the southeast that I don't think we will have pretty leaves. By the way, it is 88 degrees here today and I also have pictures of bees buzzing and two ripe tomatoes that we picked.

OK.. not the clearest of images but I worked really hard. :o I thought the blue that showed thru the trees took away from it but I left it so you could see it was real.

Lot's of possibilities and I came back from a wander in the woods with a camera full but I'll go with this one. The color here is not as spectacular as ones I took up north in September so I gave them a bit of a boost with a polarizer stacked on top of a color enhancer filter, fill flash and a vibrance boost in ACR4.2 . Maybe a bit overdone but I love fall colors :)

Not too many changes here but the Golden Rain trees are blooming now. After the yellow the tree will turn red.
