I just wanted to let you know how much I like your photo of "Luke with the new lens" that is in your gallery. You did an exceptional job of capturing the love and devotion in Luke's eyes. Fantastic job!!!!

Sela, you have a talent of being able to capture the moment beautifully. Everything in your gallery is superb, and eclectic too. The quotations add a nice touch!

Oh, my gosh, thank you all for the nice compliments! You've made my day...my week!!!!!!!!!

I have been so busy with other things that don't involve photoshopping and taking pictures...I've been kind of sad about that, cuz you all know how much joy taking pictures and then creating something that makes you smile...what it means to you.

Anyway, yeah, that dog of mine is so special! They all are, our pets, but the fact is that this boy is truly special and unique.

I got my new lens about a week ago, and I love it! It is the Nikkor Lens,
AF-S Zoom-Nikkor 17-70 mmf/3.5-4.5G IF ED. I use it on my Nikon D50. I haven't been able to go out and take pictures, been busy, but I was just telling my husband today that I am going to go the pumpkin patch down the road from us this week and go "shooting." So, hopefully, I'll be updating my gallery with new shots soon. My gallery is SCREAMING for something new!

Julie and the rest of my forum friends, thank you so so so very much for commenting and liking Luke's picture and the other pics in my gallery. You all have now given me a renewed desire to go out there and take more pictures and forget about "other stuff" that sometimes can get us away from the things that we really enjoy doing and that gives us so much joy and pleasure.
