When making DVDs from Elements Slideshows, the images flicker on my TV. I'm new to this software, ther must be an easy answer ...?

If you have chosen pan and zoom, i.e., the Ken Burns' effect, this sometimes happens. I sorta like the water rippling when I have an alligator swiming toward me!

What software are you using? What versions?
Are you taking your slideshow from Photoshop Elements 5 and exporting it to Premiere Elements 3, with burning to DVD-VIDEO in Premiere Elements 3?
If so, what does your Preview of the project look like in the Preview of the DVD Layout Dialog? Flicker, there?
There is a flicker removal option in Premiere Elements. Its location varies from versions 2 to 3, so fill me in on some of the details, and we can take it from there?
Details, very important to get to resolution.

For Premiere Elements related issues, best to post in the Premiere Elements Forum (this web site).

Am using Elements 5.0, Premier 3.0. I created the slideshows in Elements, the exported to Premier, burning to DVD-Video. Haven't tried the preview yet, will try that tonight. Friends suggested I reduce the image size as I'm using 10 mp photos ...
Isn't there some maximum megapixal size that is best for HD TV shows?
I've been using Studio for tha past few years, but want to get all my stuff on Adobe, thus the first try with this project.

For standard DVD-VIDEO, most people do not see the need for images larger than 1000 x 750 pixels. Take one of your images into the Photoshop Elements 5 Image Size Dialog and look at the pixel dimensions. What does it say?
The following link is one of those classics from the Adobe Premiere Elements User to User Forum at http://www.adobe.com.

I was not sure where you were going with your question about HD, so I have included one of those Adobe links about working with HDV in Premiere Elements 3.

If flicker is in the Premiere Elements 3 project, you should consider trying the flicker removal option, See Properties Palette.
Hope this helps.

Many thanks, I'll try and let you know what happens. But, I'm leaving on a trip, so won't reply for a week or so.
