Hi ...

Its nice to see Elderberries on the tree ... I only ever see them once they are going in my husbands wine :) .... He makes lots !!

I've never tasted the berries and this was in a protected area, so I still don't know what they taste like - probably not like the wine. :D

Edit: I used your Creative Homework 37 on this. Sure made the colors POP!

Suzanne: That's really nice. The colors do indeed "pop"! I can't say I've ever tasted elderberry wine....

elderberries grow wild in northern Nevada. Have had them with pancakes on a camping trip.
They are quite tart! Never had the drinkable berries....:) Another wild fruit that grows "up north" are called choke cherries. They are more pit than fruit and a cousin to pie cherries.
