First off let me say this place is awsome and thanks in advance.
I found a tutorial about making a cube, it states using Photoshop. I am using elements 5, and I can't seem to make it work fully. I can get part way thru it
but there serms to be some problems. Any help ?

Hi, and welcome. There is most always a work around; what's the tutorial and where are you stuck?

Welcome to the forum. You will enjoy many hours here. I have made the cube without any problems and I am using PSE 5. Have you downloaded the Action from Panos? What problems are you having?

Not sure where I got it but it is from Doug Barber, when it tells me the location is under
Edit>Transform >Skew when it is under Image>Transform>Skew, not a problem,
But when I get to Edit>Transform>Flip Horz.
I have to go to Image > Rotate> Flip Horz and then all the layers flip at the same time, no matter which one I click on as my primary layer.
HELP !!!!!!
Maybe ther is an easier one out there to use ?

Much easier, Hal,

Go and look here:
http://www.panosfx.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=190&Itemid=27

Our very generous friend, Panos, has a free download to make a cube.

The added bonus is ... if you scroll down, you'll see a picture of my grandson :D :D

Rusty

PS - I just realized the page now says "...6 or higher"; when I downloaded it this summer it worked just fine with PSE5. Give it a try and see what happens.

under image -rotate- free rotate layer. This choice will rotate only the one layer. Hope this helps.

Rusty just copied the wrong URL.

Here is the full effect, $11.99:
http://www.panosfx.com/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=172

Or the Rubik's cube, free:

the URL I posted is for the free download (scroll down to the bottom); or, you can purchase a more complete package with Reka's link.

Hi Hal ...

The command you are looking for is there its:

Image>Rotate>Flip Layer Horizontal ...

You just need to look lower down the list :)
