I'm a bit nervous to submit one of my photographs, but I will do so anyway.
Let me know what you think, this is my first real effort at using PSE.

This is a photo of my daughter Emily, it was originally a color photo which I desaturated and manipulated using PSE.

I enjoyed looking at Emily June's picture... not knowing her, it still looks like a great "character" shot. The way you blacked out the background to emphasize her as the subject really works for me - giving a good contrast. (My only wish is that things were just a bit more in focus, or sharp... especially her hair and eyes.)

This photo was not posed, I took this shot while my daughter was playing on a jungle gym. She just stopped for a few seconds, looked over at me and I snapped this shot. I wish my photo would have been a little sharper...
