Element 6 Organizer

O.K., I have Elements 5 and in the organizer the file allows me to load from my computer pics to the organizer. Where do you do this in Elements 6. The "from files" in Albums gives me a XML file not jpegs and raw. There is no file tools at the top of the page. How do you load pics on your computer to the organizer in Elements 6

It should work just the same as PSE5 - File>Get Photos and Videos>From Files and Folders (or Ctrl+Shft+G)

Thanks Tony, but there is no file, edit and so forth at the top of the page like Elements 5. Talking about the Organizer not Edit page.

Dennis: Not sure what your seeing but my PSE6 Organizer has a File menu:

Mine is not layed out like yours. I finally saw a very small
>> at the top. It gives me a dropdown to the file, edit, view. I,ve tried to right click, drag, you name it to change the view of that menu to the one like yours. Went to the help and it shows your view and not mine or how to change
it so it's not hidden. If I knew how to show you a pic I would.
I'm pretty knowledgeable of computers, software but can,t find where I can expand this view so It's not always a dropdown.

O.K. I called Adobe and here is the solution. If you have your screen font set to 120dpi ( right click desktop) you do not see the file menu in the organizer. It has to be set to 96dpi. You can use it at 120dpi if you want to use the "little" chevron to dropdown the menu.
