Photoshop Seminar

I attended the PS CS2 for Photographers Seminar with Ben Wilmore last Tues. and I will say that if you get a chance to attend, do so. I was in a delema as to usefullness because I use PSE3. Believe me that I came out of there with a whole new perspective. Be prepared though, because depending on your willpower and wallet, it can get expensive. I joined NAPP, (with the freebies - books & CDs, etc.) it made the price seem reasonable. Plenty of other goodies to purchase at reduced prices. After seeing him work Curves, I may have to think about CS2. The day went by really quick, but you do have a workbook covering what he explained. And as he said, you have to go home and practice.

They don't often visit the UK but in March this year Scott Kelby brought the Down and Dirty Tour to a venue near my home. I went to it and it was just wonderful ... I would recommend that seminar. Like you I wondered if it would be useful to none CS users but it was ... the techniques used really made me think of new ways to do things.

Sounds a similar format to the one you attended ... :)

I was wondering if you knew of any more seminars going on in the uk could let me know, how do you find out about them?

I am going today to buy down and dirty tricks do you recommend anything else

I think that last year was maybe the first time they visited the UK ... the venues were London and Birmingham (just up the road for me:)).

So far I haven't seen any information about the 2006 tour but I am keeping my fingers crossed that they do come back. Perhaps someone from the site may be able to tell us?

I've been to one of the seminars and was very impressed, learned tons.

Is there anyway to get the workshop book although you can't attend the seminar because it's not being offered in your city/area??

I think its a bit far to travel for those seminars, unless my boss gives me travel fare which i doubt, thanks though

workshop book sounds good if there was one I'd diffently get it.
