remove white background from behind logo

Have a logo and just need to remove the white background from behind it so I can insert it into FrontPage. What is the best way to do that? Thanks a bunch in advance for anyone's help! It seemed so simple....! Cindi

Hi Cindi ...

... and welcome to the forum :)

Try the magic wand ... just click on the white and hopefully that may give you a good selection then just do Edit>delete. Otherwise you may have to go round the logo with one of the selection tools ... it all depends on the colours.

Hi Cindi,

If you finish up with traces of white around the edge of the logo, contract the selection by 1 pixel - go to Select > Modify > Contract.
