Watercolor layouts - suggestions please

I came across a great watercolor template and tutorial over at Scrapgirls.com today I've been playing around with it off and on for a few hours now, but I'm not totally satisfied with the results I'm getting or the layouts I'm coming up with.


Please critque these layouts!

I'd really like to put together a calander of watercolor style layouts to give the grandparents.

That technique works well for some pages and not for others. I especially like the way the portrait one turned out - not so fond of the deck chair one.

I'm the opposite.. I like the deck chairs best.
How about lowering the saturation to give it a little more realistic look? :)

I'm on kimi's side ... I liked the deck chair ones. The other one looked less like a water color and more like they were looking through glass...

I love the deckchair one .. I think the effect works so well on it (Mind you its a great photograph to start with :) )

I'm with Kimi, Trish and Wendy on the deck chair one. On the other ... I find the diagonal lines distracting.

Great idea Jane to create a calendar for the grandparents. :)
