I'm trying to fix Premier Elements 3.0.2 per my previous post (http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/forum/showthread.php?p=313405#post313405) ... the instructions at http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=333292&sliceId=2 say:

... hold down the Shift key while choosing Start > Programs > Adobe Premiere Elements 3.x. Release the key when the Select Initial Workspace window appears.

I held the shift button down and eventually the program crashed again. What is the Initial Workspace Window?

Are you holding down the Shift Key BEFORE and WHILE you are clicking on Start/Programs/Premiere Elements 3?

What is supposed to happen is in the process of doing that a window (dialog box, Initial Workspace) appears for setting the initial (default) workspace.

If you have done all that and re-did it to make sure, let me know and we will re-think the problem.

Do not give up.

Have you seen the following TechNote about optimizing Window XP for Premiere Elements 3?
