You know when you get to that point where you can follow instructions all day long, but you can't remember how to do the simplest thing if it isn't spelled out? Well, that's about where I am.

Say I have created a paper/background.

Although this one was just a patter, pretend it were one more complex. What is the best way to save those so that I could use them again. Save it just like you were saving a picture?

I save my pattern's as jpegs (or png's if I need transparency) and I usually do it in grey sacle or black & white. That way I can easily recolor, use as an overlay or run a gradient map on them later.

If you want to save the actual paper you created, save it as a jpg with quality set near 10 - start with 300 ppi - since most embellishments and other scrapbooking kits create at 300 ppi
