Importing .flv files in PE3

I am trying to import .flv files in PE3. I understand that .flv files can not be imported though .flv is supported as an export. I wonder if a plug in is available to allow me to import video flips in .flv format.
While browsing on the internet, I founf such a plug-in for Adobe Premiere Pro but could not conclude that it would work in PE3.
Any help in this quest will be appreciated.

I have no experience with this plugin......

It is a bit confusing since every article I read says its a plugin for Premiere Pro.

However, in the features description of the plugin, everything that I have read says it supports Premiere Elements 3.0 as well as certain versions of Premiere Pro and even Premiere Pro CS3.

Now how well it works is another question.

Have you contacted the manufacturer (or place of purchase) to confirm what seems to be clearly claimed? Unless someone here has had experience with this plugin and reports in, you could also ask at the Premiere Elements User to User Forums at Adobe (if they ever get their act together with the face lift) or at the Grisetti/Engels site http://www.muvipix.com. I would go directly to the manufacturer.
