Thanks for these links. I checked them all out.

I haven't had any problems yet, since I just installed the program last night. But it is helpful to know that there are resources there when and if I do.

Have you seen the other Thread here about the Sharing Center in Premiere Elements 4?

If you get a chance, here or in the other Thread, what do the options say? I know from the marketing that there is an "Online YouTube" option. But, can you substitute another online company, such as Smug Mug, getting the same perks of direct connection to, with your Premiere Elements 4 optimized and formatted material?

I am trying to hold off until the tryout version is available.

Thanks.

I've been following it, since I don't have any options right now and may be looking for one.

I've already been using your helpful links! Today I started to use the new version and have received multiple reasons for the program to shut down. I'm going back to research the last one, which is a runtime error when adding clips to the timeline which happened on the first install and again on the reinstall.

I've also been plagued with a 'low on system memory' and a 'generic failure...unsupported format or damaged file/one of the necessary components may have not been installed'. Both shut me down. So in reading the tech hints, it was suggested that I uninstall the program and any previous versions (I had V3 installed), empty the recycle bin, and reinstall which I did. I also shut the system down after removing the file I was trying to build, to clear anything out that might be hanging on.

I have a Pentium D CPU 2.8GHz, 2.79GHz, 3.50 GB RAM, XP w/SP2. My system shows 1% to 5% CPU usage and 40GB free space on the C drive.

I don't blame you for holding out on this purchase...I was determined to buy it to, hopefully, get rid of some of the bugs in V3!?!!
