.ppt files in Premiere

Does anyone know if there is a way to import a Power Point presentation into Premiere? I would like to merge some video and a .PPT at the end of the video. Any suggestions?

I can check this out for you when I get home tonight, but I do know that you can save the Power Point slides as jpg files and use those.

I have no experience in the task that you described, but I did come across the following link containing chat about converting the .ppt and burning to DVD. Quality and maintaining the features of the original .ppt appear to be the main issues in method choices.
