I recently took a family portrait on the beach and obviously took many shots in hope of getting one good one. The photo that I want is great except my daughter's eyes are slightly closed. How is the best way to copy only her face from one of the other photos to the one I want to use without it looking like a copy?

I think the best thing to do is just move the "good" eyes over to the good photo. I have done it many times and it looks great.
just select the eyes you want with a slight feather (1-2) pixel and move them over to the other photo with the move tool.

You could also try the Filter..distort...liquify and sometimes you can open up the eyes just a little for a slight but very effective change.

If you want to copy and paste the head from another photo, open the photo you want to copy from, use the selection brush and select just the head and hit ctrl+C, go to the photo you want to copy to and hit ctrl+v to paste. Now the head will be on its own layer in the photo you want to edit. You can drag the head directly over the head you are replacing, when you get it where you want it just flatten the layers.
Another way is to select the good eye, ctrl+j to put it on layer and flip the layer horizonally and drag over the eye you want to replace. Sometimes it blends in very well, sometimes it don't. To me eyes are the hardest thing to correct.
