Open a new blank image
Press K for the paint bucket tool
Change the fill option on the tool bar to pattern
Then change your fill pattern set to "Plaid TGV"
and then select a plaid pattern you like, then
click anywhere on your blank image to fill it with
your plaid pattern.....

I going to try to make some digital scissors template for cutting
edges of paper to shapes like scrapbooking scissors, here is an
example of how my digital cloud scrissor can cut paper.

I'm also working on a set of pinstripe paper patterns as well, as
you can see in this image, the background paper. The lavender purple
paper is one of the different colored paper that is included...

The font I used in this image is call "4 my lover", in case you want
to know.

What do you think about the cut paper edge and the pin stripe paper
desgin?

All comments are welcome good or bad!

You can go here to see this ideal at work!

What a great idea - I think I would like to see the scallops a little smaller though. Can you try that on maybe a plain textured card stock type paper?

You are amazing!!! :)

I am new to the forums but what a wealth of information! How do you do the digital scissor template or are they located anywhere? Thanks :D

Hi there ...

... and welcome to the forum :)

I'm not sure how Tim made his template but you can make one by creating a new file with a white backgound then create a blank layer above it. Now use the Elliptical Marquee to make a circle and fill it with another colour ... duplicate this layer several times and then arrange the circles so that they overlap .. to make a border.

Merge all the circle layers into one layer and then use the Rectangular marquee to delete the top part of the circles ... you should now be left with a scalloped template ... :)

Hope this helps :)
