I have just succeeded (to my immense amazement and delight) in creating the photo cube that is in the Kelby Down & Dirty Tricks book. When it indicated to go to Render<3-D transform to create the basic cube, I noticed that there is also a sphere. I went back after to try to "play" with that a little, but I just couldn't make anything happen--like wrapping a photo around it. Can anyone tell me some things that you CAN do using the sphere--and also, IS it possible to wrap a photo around it? (I know it would be grossly distorted, but it would just be fun to experiment and see what happens). I thought that I could so something pretty with the gradient tool, but the color just seemed to lay "flat" on it--lost the look of a sphere. Thanks for your help..

While you are in the 3D Transform dialog -

1) click on the sphere tool and draw a circle over our image.

2) click on the tool that has a black circle with an arrow going around it.

3) click on your image and move it around the sphere shape.

4) click ok

There are a couple sliders available to play with as well.
