Halftone tutorial

Has anyone had any trouble with the tut on Design with Halftones, Corey Barker? I must be doing something wrong but when I make the halftones, they are plaid, not circles. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks

Hi,
when you select the filter for the colour halftone are you on the right layer,
also are you using Filter - Pixelate - Colour Halftone?

I had a similar problem. I increased the number in the first box, Max. Radius, to about 40 (and higher) and was successful in making "dots" instead of plaid. I'm sure this is because I am working on a higher resolution (300ppi instead of 72ppi) document than Corey ;)

I had issues also. I finally went back and made my image the same size as Corey's. Even with that, mine still did not look exactly like his. :o

Thanks, I thought maybe I was missing something. I'll try the higher number and see if that works for me.

THANK YOY thank you a million...I´ve nearly broken down because I could´nt get it to work. But now when I use 72 ppi and 40 Max. Radius it WORK.

But if I want to use 300??

Just continue increasing the Max Pixel size .... try 80 :)
