Stitched Elements

How do you make something look like it's stitched in pse 3...I am going out of my mind trying to figure it out..........the embroidered(?) type stitching is what I am referring to..............any help would be appreciated.

You could open a new transparent document and grab a small paintbrush, black, and manually paint a few stitches the way you want and then go to Edit>define brush. This way you'll have a brush that paints the stitches. It's good to define the brush in both the horizontal and vertical positions, even left and right diagonally...I mean if you plan on having stiches go in all different driections on your image...Just use the move tool to position the brush before you define it.

One other question...how do I give it texture so it will look like yarn? I don't think I have that "look" in my texture area.

hmmmm, like spun warn or straight yarn ? I'll have to take a look and see what we have.
