I've just started looking around Adobe Lightroom (probably the last thing I need is another new peice of software on my computer!) and I'm wondering if anyone knows if a Lightroom slideshow can be saved to Premeire Elements and be made into a DVD. I'm just trying to figure out how all the Adobe software on my computer can work together. I love the slideshow relationship between PSE and PRE but I've been using PS more than PSE now so many of my "projects" aren't in my Organizer. Ughh-there's so much to learn-I wish I was about 20 years younger!
Thanks!

I have Premiere Elements 2.0 and do not have Adobe Lightroom.

All that being said, this is what I know or think I know:

(a) PDF is not a supported file type for Premiere Elements
(b) If you create a slideshow in Lightroom, you can add music. The big BUT is that that music is only for playback within Lightroom. When you go to export your slideshow (export route being a PDF route), it is only the photos that are exported NOT audio.

If you would like, I could look further into this for more details, unless you find them first.

To be continued...

ATR has it right. LR will only export slide shows as PDF files, and the music does not get exported with it.

Hope that the following link will be helpful overview of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Slideshow:

This link is a 2 part video by Corey Barker, part 1 focus is the creation and part 2 focus is the export.

Thank you all-that's kind of what I figured. I ended up with Lightroom as kind of a freebie when I bought CS3, but haven't quite figured out what to do with it yet-I'm sure I'll find some way to justify having it on my computer! In the meantime, I'll just continue using PSE for my slideshows-
Thanks again!

Howdy:
I use lightroom as my organizer. And the editing is getting better and better check out version 1.1, I find it has a lot of power hiding.

Version 1.2 is ready to be downloaded. When I opened LR 1.1, it automatically updated.

I like a lot of the "organizer" features of Lightroom and I have to say I haven't tried editing anything with it yet. I think having Adobe Bridge right there is messing me up as to why I need LR. I just need to fiddle around with them both-for right now, the challenge of learning the differences between PSE and CS3 have been keeping me busy. (Though, I've been pleasantly suprised to find out that not that much is really different-CS3 just has a few more options)
