This lily pond is at the Blue Willow Inn Restaurant. If you are ever in the Atlanta area, I highly recommend a meal at the Blue Willow. It is a unique experience.

As usual, I am amazed by the creativity that is exhibited here. You people are the best and I don’t really feel worthy to comment on your pictures.

Echoblue- I really like what you do with color and blend modes.

Lisabee- I like your crop and your painted effect.

Norma- I especially like your textured backgrounds. I like the frame effect.

Rusty- I like the 3-D frame, and I really like how you had flower flowing outside the frame.

Way 2 Close- That was a neat effect. I made myself a note to look on the Flickr forums.

Bill- You are always full of surprises. You amaze me creating letters and shapes with pictures

Gary and Smiles- Your pictures are similar but unique. Your crops are great. I never thought about using an inside shadow to make a 3-D effect.

Glenda- I like your frame- it reminds me of your gallery where you have such cute frames for your kitties.

Debra- I love that embellishment that you added.

There’s a lot of talent out there.

Bamagirl,

Thanks for noticing my attempt to meet the challenge! And thanks for looking at my gallery ... I probably have too many kitty pictures in there, but they're my favorite subject!

By the way, the picture you gave us to work with was absolutely amazing! If I ever find my way to Atlanta again, I'll definitely check it out.

Thanks for the comment -- Flickr's Adobe Photoshop Elements PSE/Discuss forum is the counterpart of this forum -- friendly and full of ideas.

By the way, after using their technique I erased back some of the color in the upper right corner to balance the lower left. Wish I'd had time to do more with the pic, it's a gold mine as the other attempts show.

Loved the black & white, partly desaturated and selectively coloured versions of the statuette part of the pic... But everyone's work is lovely as always!

Bamagirl, great job with the texture! Looks like a painting on canvas... :)
