Bill- your starter images are always wonderfully inspiring but this one for #100 is just great! Thanks yet again for all you do. I'm looking forward to seeing what we all come up with.

Bill, that's a GREAT starter image! Very clever!

Thanks for the time and effort you put into creatively continuing the weekly photo theme.

Now I'm off to find some letter shapes which are not already in my "Letter Library" folder!

congratulations on reaching a century Bill - well not you personally, but you know what I mean :)
I don't think the queen sends out telegrams for being 100 in this sense, but I'm sure she would if she could :D :D

Lorri, great idea for the theme, it should be interesting to see what everyone comes up with,

Bill, I just wanted to thank you for putting so much time into this challenge. I haven't always participated but always look at everyones entries.

Congrats on 100

Thanks for all the nice comments. Looks like we're off to a good start!

Kim - I didn't know that the falcon was a stylized F. Very cool ... and a nice setup on your entry!

Steven - Good find! And you didn't even have to take your camera to work.:D Your yard looks beautiful.

Bill, I never realized it myself until I was doing a search a couple of days ago for the graphic for a layout that was clearer than the one I had. On the site I found it, it explained why the falcon races the direction it does and why the legs were added to make it look like an F.

Looks like this one is making everyone think a bit .... and that's good! The entries we've seen so far have been great, and I think we'll see some really good shots roll in the next few days.

Bama Girl - That sure looks like an I to me too! Good eye .. and of course good I:rolleyes:.

Pat - Good work finding three. And C's are hard!

Bayla - Nice find on the Y! Don't you just hate mystery underwear though?

Kim - Nice work! Both of your shots are great.

Suzi - Good eye. How many years have you probably looked at that without seeing the W? ... and now you'll never be able to miss it.

Lisa - Congratulations on those!! All three are very imaginative and perfectly capture the theme!

I hope everyone will be inspired to give this one a try!

Bill- In order, thanks for all you do with these Photo Challenges, and congratulations on hitting the 100 mark. I always look forward to these (even if it involves taking my camera to work) and to see your starter images. They are always well done.
I noticed you are now a Senior Member, so congratulations on that too! With it comes a myriad of increased responsibilities, which is why I have slowed down on my posting. I want to just cruise along as a Frequent Contributor for as long as I can.
Thanks for your comments too. Any word on the Talgo status?

I heard about this website on an Atlanta radio station this morning on my way to work. My first reaction was OMG.--this is what we have been doing all week.

B-G- that's a cool coincidence.
This has been an interesting theme; everyone's takes have been swell but Tony's moon is just a knockout! I bet I'm not the only one who will have a file like Lorri's of letter shaped things.

Do I still have time to post my entry? I was only able to take a suitable photo this afternoon, but it was cloudy and the picture needs retouching a bit... Is it OK if I post my pic in a couple of hours or so?

EDIT: Never mind, finished much earlier than I'd thought and just posted the result in the photo thread. :)

Bill- I noticed you are now a Senior Member ... With it comes a myriad of increased responsibilities ...

Steven - On the up side I'm enjoying the extra pay!

Lorri - Thanks for showing us how it's supposed to be done!! Love the V!

Kimi - Good find ... with a 90 degree clockwise rotation it's a "b" as well!

Tony - I'll never see it as anything but a D again. Great shot ... what lens did you use??

Ellen - All three shots are super. I especially like the fan on the engine.

Gail - You found some great ones. I would never have seen the hedge trimmers as a Y, but it's perfect!

Maria - You found some great subject matter. I enjoyed the leaves in the foreground too. Very nice entry. Your other examples were fun too ... I like the T in the tram image.

Byron - Perfect!:D

Rob - Congratulations .... I think you got the entire alphabet in there somewhere!

We've gotten some great images this week ... and there's still time for more. Congratulations to all of you!

Tony.. I am so jealous. Your moon shots are always fantastic and I haven't had a good one yet. Care to share some setting recommendations? They have a big moon shot coming up here and every time I try, I overexpose. :o

Ellen, I love yours. :)

Bryon, the stooges? :D

Kimi: I did get lucky with that moon shot as it was a very clear night. Handheld, Program Mode, 70-300mm VR lens at 300mm, ISO 400, 1/250th second at f5.6. I spot metered on the moon and just pointed and shot. Always looks better when the moon isn't full because you can see the craters better as the sun is at an angle.

Bill: Thanks for the comments and keeping this challenge going - always gets me looking around for photo for the week.

Soitenly the Stooges!!! Who do you think Curly (http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/gallery/view_img.php?id=13062) is named after? :p

On a note related to this Challenge, since he used to post the weekly themes... has anyone heard from Will Presley?

According to his Profile (http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/forum/member.php?u=307), he hasn't been on the forum since July 3.

Hoping he's just been busy with bigger and better things.

That was one GREAT challenge, very original - and your photo of the letter D in Braille was a wonderful idea!! :)

I haven't Byron ... I hope all is well with him too. Hopefully he's busy with summer activities and we'll see him around again soon.
