Upgrade To Pe5?

Any thoughts on the upgrade to PE5 from PE3 please - any problems with transferring full data (tags etc)?

Hi... that was my first thought also. There is talk that vers. 6 will be out in a month or so. I would wait. :)

Picking up on the second part of your question. To date all later versions have either opened earlier catalogues directly, or contained routines to automatically convert them to the latest format. I.e. there should be no problem transferring your catalogue data (tags, etc).

I'll be very surprised if the situation isn't the same with PSE6 when it arrives.

I agree with the others. I'd wait. I liked version 3 because 3rd party plug-ins worked well with it. V4 however had some plug in limitations although there were added features. In version 6 they may reinstate the undo redo icons on the tool bar. These were eliminated in V5 in lieu of preexisting shortcuts. There were a number of complaints about that change.
