Hi,
This was just another photo on my hard drive but thanks to PE3 and the tuts available (not forgetting Jodi's wonderful frames), it is now much classier.

OMG, what a beautiful picture ! Just makes me want to smuggle him and set him free ! The photo shows how he feels...enough to make me want to cry....that's a photo !

Hi ,
Glad you like the photo, it was originally taken with a Nikon 35mm and I scanned the print, followed advice from the forum and from books to enhance it.
Jodi, there's no need for tears, Marwell is dedicated to breeding endangered species and releasing them back into their natural habitat.
They have a very good success rate.

My first words were when I saw the picture, was as Jodi said OMG.
It is so beautiful, and wonderful to hear that he will be realeased to his natural habitat.

Kev, indeed that is wonderful news...I'm so thrilled ! After I made the statement I thought perhaps someone would jump on me and say that Zoos preserve animals...sure, I guess they do. Tho I'd rather be free for a day than to spend my life behind bars for a crime I did not commit. Then again, again, the catch is that I can rely on a zoo to keep a species alive.... it's tough being at battle with this thought... please ignore...

Absolutely beautiful.

Before I started shooting jazz, I was at the zoo or Wild Animal Park every week shooting animals--your photo makes me want to go back & look at those pics.
