Photoshop Elements 3 - Can't complete operation in "Save for Web"

Hello.

I have a problem. I have used my Elements 3 for MAC a while and suddenly I can't use "Save for Web". It lets me go through the whole process until I want to save it to a file. I get the message "Could not complete the operation. The file not found". I even tried re-saving an image I had already filed long ago. I have looked in "Support" and cannot find anything. Does anyone have any idea why its doing this and what I can do to stop it?

Have you tried a restart of the program and/or the OS?

I have PS6 on my Mac(OS 9.2) and every once in awhile Save for Web goes wonky but a restart brings it back. I don't believe I've ever gotten your error message though.

Hi ...

Its probably worth trashing the Save for Web preferences and let them rebuild.

You will find then in User>Username>library>prefs.

Hopefully that will sort it out :)

Thanks for you suggestions, but it still isn't working. I tried to repair my disk and delete and reinstall Elements 3, but will it says "could not complete operation. File not found.

Hi Ramona ...

Just drag PSE3 into the trash and do a fresh install ... that should sort it out :)
