I am looking into buying a tablet. I was just wondering if anyone has some good advice on which brand to buy and what type of features it should have. I don’t know too much about them. I need one that is going to be universal that I can use on Elements, Illustrator and AutoCAD. Any info would be much appreciated. Also any opinions on whether or not they are useful in Elements. I hoping that a tablet will give me the drawing freedom that I get in illustrator.
Many thanks,
Shellb

I had been debating this for the last year too. I finally decided to get the Intuos 4x6, knowing that I want to get more into the painting, and I didn't want to buy the graphire and then a year down the road wish I had bought the Intuous. I bought mine at Besty Buy the day after Labor Day and used a 12% off coupon, so that helped. I aboslutely love it and am very happy with the 4x6 proportion (my laptop has a widescreen). If you go to THIS (http://www.wacom.com/productinfo/differences.cfm) website, you can choose several different models and compare the features. This is what I used to decide to go with the Intuos instead of a Graphire. Anyway, which ever one you decide to get, you will love it! :)
