A truely rich man!

I did this page for this week's sketch challenge over at DDD... recolored portions of the "Falling Leaves" freebie by Nancy Marti to better match the picture.

It was warm and windy on Saturday afternoon and the kids wanted to play outside with daddy. I was trying to capture a father/son moment, when my daughter ran up and gave daddy a big hug. (Well actually it was more like a flying tackle. :))

Jane, what a beautiful way to preserve a beautiful moment!

With my husband's recent cancer diagnosis, our three daughters have a sudden new interest in the photos I have of them with their dad. They want those photos and they want the stories that go with them to be recorded.

It's been a good reminder of why we work as hard as we do to capture such times with photos and photoshop!
