Graphics In Slide Show Creation

I am a relatively new user and am having problems when I am creating a slide show. I am adding graphics to my pictures and am unable to rotate them to fit into the picture correctly. All I get when I put my cursor on the border of the graphic is a way to reduce or enlarge it. I am sure it must be something
simple.

If you adding the graphics before creating slide show, I suggest trying to put the graphics on their own layer and the go to image>rotate>rotate layer in PSE.
