The create Photo Layout process works great but all the stock frames are rectangular. I want to create a "Photo Frame" using an ellipse. Is there a way to do this in Photoshop or Photoshop Elements?

Hi and welcome. You can stroke any shape or selection and add layer styles to it to make a frame. If you put the stroke on it's own layer you can tweak it forever without messing up the image that you want framed.
Hope this makes sense.

I don't know if this is what you want, but you can download oval frames (for free) at the following site:)

Ellen - I am a newer user. I understand what you wrote but I need to spend some time learning to do what you said. Although I could ask you for more details I want to wade through the complexity and learn myself. thanks.

CEHARRIS3 - Thanks for the link to some already made oval frames. For the short term these will work fine. I assume that I can modify the frames to be a blurred or hard edge rather than a wood frame. As above, I will dig deeper into Elements.

If I get completely stuck I will be back.
