saving a selection

so i save a selection.
then i save it again with the same name.
in all other software when you save it with the same name up pops a box asking if i want to replace it.
elements 5 just saves it again so now i have 2 or more.
maybe a developer can change this in later editions

When I choose "save" - in the screen that comes up - there are two lines of info under the file name - called "save options"

"Organizer" has two boxes you can check or uncheck - "include in organizer/save as set"

"Save" has two boxes you can check or uncheck - "layers/as copy"

Remove the check mark from "as set" "as copy" - and the option of "replace" will be available

You can choose the way you want your "stuff" saved

I noticed that it does that, too. Just put a number or letter after the name in the subsequent saves so you'll know which one is the most recent one.
