I downloaded some backgrounds but they came through really small. When I enlarged them the pixels were off and not clear at all. Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks....Sandy

You probably saved the thumbnail of the paper. You need to get to the download site and download the actual file. It takes a little fooling around and searching the site, but there should be a place where you'll find a download button.

Thanks, I will try that. The other question I have is this: I would like more artwork, more frames, more selections of everything. Is that what is called a plug in. Where do I find more selections. Do you pay for them or can you get them free? I'm just really starting to get into this and I feel limited by what is on my inital program.
Thanks again.

Not exactly sure what items are called "plug-ins" - but you can find free brushes and shapes and gradients.
There are even free layer styles, actions, etc. - just keep watching here. There are links posted by people all the time.
Try this link

And at the bottom of this site - there is a section called "helpful links"

Most of the stuff for Photoshop will work in Elements, although the actions probably won't.
Also check out www.PanosFX.com and www.graficalicus.com - in both cases make sure you are in their Elements section, and get the correct item for your verison of Elements.
Jodi Frye also has a couple of great CD's - "The Missing Styles" and "Jodi's Album Supplies". The only way I know of to order them is to send her a private message here. You can see and download some of here work at http://elexchange.barbarabrundage.com/download.php
For learning scrapping in Elements - check out www.scrappersguide.com The free newsletter has a lot of great tips, and the Premier membership and training CD's are awesome!
