Oragnizer takes a long time to open up in Elements 5.0

Since i am realativley new to Elements 5.0, can anybody tell me why it takes a long time to open up in the organizer mode. I use vista utimate with 4.0 GB of ram and i recently just updated elements to the vista compatabile version.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

A "long time" is a bit relative. How long are we talking about here? I find that opening either the Editor or Organizer takes 15-20 seconds.

Look at this thread for help in changing your Memory & Image Cache in editor. I did and now my catalog with 25,000 images opens in about 20 seconds.
