can't send email photos

So, OK, I open a photo from my hard drive in Elements 4 Editor and click File/Send Email and I get a message stating that the Elements Organizer is busy and cannot perform this task. Huh? Anyone got an idea of how to get a photoshopped photo onto an email? Thanks, new and frustrated user.

i am so sorry i cant help you. But i want to welcome you. I have never emailed from photo shop i always save to my pictures. Some one will come along and have the right answer for you i am sure.

Ladybug - thank you for your reply. I know how to save to My Pictures. What size and resolution do you make your photos in elements before you save them for email? Thx, Anata

Hi Anata,
when I want to send a picture by e-mail I use
File >> Save for Web
I make the longest side about 700px and adjust the Quality slider on that screen to make the size in KBytes(shown under the right picture) to be about 150KBs.
This size is easy to view for the recipient, no scrolling, it fits on the screen.
I use hotmail and only get the picture sized in Elements.
Don't know how to send from within Elements.
